Where this data comes from

Every registration fact in this directory comes from one place: the FMCSA Company Census File, published by the US Department of Transportation on its open-data portal. It's the same record that sits behind the FMCSA's own SAFER company snapshots. It is public, free, and anyone can query it.

This copy was pulled on 2026-10-14, filtered to companies with active registration and for-hire operating authority.

What we add

Nothing to the facts. We don't adjust the numbers, and we don't publish ratings, scores, or reviews of our own. What we add is the plain-language notes about what to ask before you sign on somewhere — written from time actually spent driving, not generated.

What we don't publish

No pay figures or earnings estimates. They change constantly and they're the number most often used to sell people on a bad deal. Ask the recruiter and get it in writing.

No scraped reviews or star ratings. Other directories lift those from Google. We don't, and a rating assembled that way wouldn't tell you much anyway.

No claim that a listed carrier is hiring. Registration and recruiting are two different things.

Known limits

Carriers refile with FMCSA every two years, so fleet and driver counts can be up to two years old. Each listing shows its filing date — check it. Company names repeat, too: searching a well-known carrier can turn up several similarly named entities, only one of which is the real one. That's why every listing here is keyed to a USDOT number, and why each page links straight to the FMCSA's own record so you can confirm it in one click.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, email us. Corrections are free, they don't require anyone to buy anything, and we make them the same week. If a company wants its listing removed, we remove it.

Registration details on this site come from the FMCSA Company Census File, a public record published by the US Department of Transportation. A listing here is a record that a company is registered with FMCSA — it is not an endorsement, a statement that the company is hiring, a job offer, or professional advice. Records change and filings go stale; confirm anything that matters directly with the company and against current FMCSA records before you act on it.
